Clips for the Root Board

I love my root board and got the clips because sometimes when I'm kneeling or standing I catch the hinge and it is uncomfortable or throws my alignment off. The clips seemed like a great idea, but they are not tough enough and slide off very easily with any movement of the board. They just don't work they way they were intended to. When you all do find a method that actually works, please let me know! The root board really changed my lifestyle, and I use it every single day for stretching a workouts in my carpeted room, and have taken it with me to campouts so I can do my physical therapy wherever I go.

I got a set of these with my original Root Board purchase. I have it on a medium pile carpet and feel like these aren’t doing anything to help the board from buckling in the middle when I step or kneel where the two halves join. Are there any other tips to prevent this shifting of boards during practice?

The durability is fine. The finish is moderate. The fit is a bit sloppy. Also, a pair are included with the Root Board, which is very good, by the way. My purchase was unnecessary.

Holds board securely. Love my root board! It makes home yoga practice so much better. Highly recommended.

Love the clips to help create an even more level and stable platform when on uneven ground - BRAVO!

These clips gave me the added stability that I needed on my carpet. I am in love with this board but sometimes on my higher carpet I would feel just a slight bend in the middle where the two boards meet. Not anymore! Now I can practice yoga feeling like my mat is right on the studio floor. Absolutely no more bending in the board and the clips don’t get in the way of my practice at all! 100% recommend these clips!
